It’s a sin!
I heard someone say,
Which echoed through my mind, the rest of the day!
What is sin?
Have you ever thought it through?
After all, it really concerns me and you!
Sin, is the transgression of the law,
Without law there is no sin.
So, does this mean, we can do whatever we like?
Of course, not
Commonsense, should tell us this from within.
Is this what we see in society each day?
No way!
Once a law is broken, there is a penalty.
This should be plain to see!
Can you break the law of gravity?
Try jumping off the top of a building,
And see how you fare.
It will be pretty grim, without a safety net there!
Have you ever said, it’s a sin?
Without thinking about what it means?
Next time, when making such a comment.
Think of its meaning, from within.
