New sun safe swimming shirts presented to local schools

LOCAL schools have improved ‘sun safety’ for students with the addition of sun safe shirts that were presented to all Year 1 students through the generosity of the Rosewood Lions Club.

The shirts are white and are emblazoned with the Lions logo.

They were well received by the students who thanked the Lions members with a smile.

Rosewood Lion Christine Forrest said that this was the second year that the Lions have donated sun safe shirts to the schools, though this year the shirts were sponsored by the Lions Opportunity Shop.
