Poetry Corner – I Wonder

Visions of my head trouble me,

All of our dreams are not sweet.

Sometimes, we experience nightmares,

With the meaning hard to see!

What we experience during the night,

Can wake us up,

With a shock, and sudden fright.

I am sure, everyone has been in that situation,

And maybe, discussed it with a friend or relation.

The wise old owl, sitting on the post,

I wonder if he dreams?

I ask myself, as I butter my toast!

Many times, a dream can appear to be real,

And you ask,

What did that really reveal?

I once asked,

Do you dream in colour, or black and white?

An interesting question.

Maybe, you can think about that,

When you go to bed tonight!

Visions of my head,

I wonder, what will I dream tonight, when I go to bed?
