What the world needs now,
Is peace, love and harmony.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that way to me!
Instead of compassion,
There is more concern about vanity and fashion.
When will we ever learn?
I must ask!
It is such a different task?
People running to and fro,
Where are they going, I would like to know!
At the end of the Vietnam war,
We thought that’s it, there won’t be anymore!
How wrong we were,
Conflicts never cease,
If only, we could have peace!
There is a new world ahead,
We need to watch and prepare,
And listen to what Jesus said!
Unfortunately, many wool scoff and shake their head.
And say!
I will do it my way instead!
The world needs peace, love and harmony.
It has been offered,
The Master said please listen to me!
