Poetry Corner – Hear My Voice

Guest Writer

Dear Lord, in you I put my trust!

Let me never be put to shame,

I know You will deliver me.

When I call upon your name!

You are the rock on which to build upon.

With that foundation, I will be strong!

You are my hope, trust and truth.

And have been since my youth.

You will give me comfort!

And surround and protect me on every side,

I need not have fear,

Because in Your protection I can hide!

I greatly rejoice when I sing to You,

Unlike many in the world,

I know Your words are true!

Those who cause trouble in the world,

Will be brought to shame,

Only You know their name.

Cast me not off in old age,

Be with me when my strength fails,

The world cares not, and continues to rage.

Dear Lord, hear my voice,

Without You, there is no other choice!
