Roosters wrap up tough footy season

THE Rosewood Roosters C-Grade side tackles Laidley in their final game of the 2024 Rugby League Ipswich season tomorrow [Saturday].

The match at the North Ipswich Reserve will complete a testing year for the winless Roosters.

After starting the season with 60 players and two senior sides, the Roosters had to withdraw their Reserve Grade team due to a hefty injury toll.

However, the C-Graders battled on, showing plenty of heart representing the club.

Pictured are some images by Moreton Border News photographer LYLE RADFORD from the recent Roosters C-Grade encounter against Fassifern at Anzac Park.

Footballers from both sides earnt praise for playing the game “in good spirits with no malice”.
