Newly restored seat, a place to rest and reflect

OVERLOOKING the picturesque scene of the Tallegalla Cemetery, is a newly refurbished seat which has been beautifully restored by the Rosewood Men’s Workshop.

The seat was originally donated by Coralie Bradly to the Rosewood Men’s Workshop for the purpose of providing a place of rest and contemplation for those visiting their loved ones buried on the grounds.

“It’s great that our Men’s Workshop are able to add to the local community and do projects like this,” said Trevor Halt, the volunteer co-ordinator of the Rosewood Men’s Workshop.

“People need a place to rest up there at the Cemetery.

“It’s good to know we were able to provide this seat that should last a good long while.

“The Rosewood Men’s Workshop is such a valuable space for local men to meet and work on projects for themselves and community.

“We encourage anyone who is interested to come and join our group on Friday mornings at the Rosewood Community Centre.”
