A happy anniversary for Rosewood General Practice

AS ROSEWOOD General Practice celebrates its fifth anniversary under the ownership of Dr Nagaraj Dupakuntla, it’s a momentous occasion to reflect on the journey that began in 2019.

Taking over from Dr Saba, who dedicated 43 years to serving the community, Dr Raj embarked on a mission to continue providing essential healthcare while introducing new services for the evolving needs of the Rosewood Township.

The transition officially took place on February 7, 2019, marking the passing of the baton.

Dr Saba continued to support the practice for an additional two years, retiring on February 19, 2021, leaving behind a legacy of compassionate care and dedication.

Over the past five years, Rosewood General Practice has encountered its share of challenges, but through unwavering dedication and a steadfast commitment to the community’s well-being, the practice has overcome them all.

Dr Raj acknowledges the resilience of the team, whose dedication has been instrumental in navigating through these obstacles.

The Practice has flourished under Dr Raj’s leadership, expanding its services to include physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, and hearing services, addressing a broader spectrum of healthcare needs within the community.

Additionally, the team of doctors has grown from two to six, which is also complemented by visiting specialist services.

Rosewood General Practice has become an accredited training site for both ACRRM and RACGP registrars, starting in 2023 and 2024 respectively. This acknowledgment speaks to the practice’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

The Practice also engages with medical students, offering them valuable opportunities to learn and contribute to patient care. Dr Raj extends heartfelt gratitude to the community for their support in welcoming these students during consultations, recognising their role in shaping the future of healthcare.

As Dr Raj reflects on the past five years, he expresses gratitude to all employees, contractors, patients, and supporters who have placed their trust in Rosewood General Practice.

The journey thus far has been a testament to the strength of community bonds and the power of collective dedication to improving healthcare outcomes.

Here’s to the next five years and beyond, as Rosewood General Practice continues to serve the community with excellence, compassion, and integrity.
