Poetry Corner – Time Moves Fast

Echoes from the past,

Reminding us of how times moves fast.

From the day you were born

To the age of man,

Your life has followed a certain plan.

What do you recall of years gone by?

Some, probably make you laugh,

While others make you cry.

Never mind you’ve weathered the storm so far.

Gaining knowledge, which should reveal your lucky star.

We all start with a blank slate,

Never knowing how much we will have on our plate.

If we are lucky,

We will be nurtured with the right guidance along the way,

Putting us on the right track,

And hopefully that is where we will stay!

Lessons learned, should be passed on.

To our daughter or our son.

If the chain is not broken,

We can hold our head with pride,

With much to be proud of, and nothing to hide!

Echoes from the past,

Reminding us of how time moves fast!
