Ipswich military historian Eddie Habben recently shared some interesting stories with the members of the Rosewood History Group.
Eddie has published a number of books in relation to the region’s rich military history, particularly in Rosewood.
He visited the group to share heroic stories and memoirs from the past.
Rosewood History Group co-ordinator David Pahlke said that Eddie was a true military expert who had spent many years organising and researching local honour boards.
“All of the members really engaged in the history that Eddie shared with the group,” he said.
“Eddie’s contribution to research over the years has been immeasurable and invaluable to the community and to all of the families, and I thank him for all of his dedication and hard work.”
