New planter boxes for Rosewood’s main street

NEW planter boxes have now been installed in John Street Rosewood through a $25,000 Urban Greening Project with the Ipswich City Council.

The funds were allocated in the 2022-2023 budget for the installation of five stained timber planter boxes built by students at the Ipswich State High School’s Trade Training Centre.

Now situated in front of Harrys Café, Georges Garage and on both sides of the pedestrian crossing in the main street, the boxes are full of drought tolerant plants with the aim to brighten up the street.
