Mercy Awards at St Brigid’s

STUDENTS at St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School were congratulated at a special assembly for showing dedication to their school work and compassion and care within the school community.

The award is called the Mercy Award and it is an achievement that is presented to one student from each school grade.

Principal Duane Wann said the Mercy Award is awarded to students to acknowledge positive social behaviours, improvement, progress and effort throughout the term.

“This is a special accomplishment for students who show continued exemplary effort in academic, behaviour, attitude and commitment attitudes towards the school values,” he said.

“This term has been set with many challenges though our students have shown persistence, patience and dedication and I congratulate each and every student for their efforts.”
