MOUNT Marrow State School Principal Emma McBain has braved the shave giving up her locks after the school community worked together and raised $1,041 for the World’s Greatest Shave.
Ms McBain had promised the students that she would shave her hair, if the school raised more than $1,000.
“The students got involved as they came to school with crazy hair styles, different coloured hair and donated funds to help this great cause,” she said.
“For a small school this is a great effort and I am very proud of our whole school community for getting involved.”
