Show and Shine draws everything from utes to classics

The Annual Rosewood Charity Show and Shine was held at the Rosewood Bowls Club, on Saturday.

The event which is now in its ninth year attracted a large variety of classic cars and bikes.

“There were utes and sedans, panel vans and wagons, two-door and four-door classics as well as a Leyland Moke,” reported one of the organisers, Barbara Quinn.

“The classics ranged from 1955 through to present day.”

And the grounds were filled with Holden utes, Ford Mustangs, Chevrolets and panel vans as well as the much sought after Australian Torana.

“A selection of beautiful Harley Davidson bikes was on display as well,” Ms Quinn said.

“Although it was a hot day we had a good day.

“It was great to see how people complied with the Covid rules and checked in and social distanced.”

Ms Quinn added that some visitors came for a quick look, others brought chairs and caught up with friends.
