Under 8s day at Haigslea State School

ON FRIDAY, October 22, Haigslea State School came to life with special guests and entertainment to celebrate their annual Under 8s Day.

HAIGSLEA School Principal Emily Robinson said that the Under 8s day was a huge success with students, staff and guests enjoying the chance to have fun together.

“We had a fantastic day celebrating all things around outdoor learning,” she said.

“The children participated in craft activities, painting, gardening and played with the animals in a petting zoo that was set up in the school grounds.

“The local fire brigade and police demonstrated how to use their safety equipment and shared information on fire and emergency situations.

“The children were supported in the activities by Rosewood High School students and Active Volunteering students.”
