New Rosewood CWA board looks to future success

At the annual CWA board selection meeting, Nelly Haly was returned as Secretary, as was Gaylene Stack as International Officer, while Fiona Wood was elected as President, Shirley Branch as Vice President and Gaile Benson as Treasurer.

Secretary Nelly Haly said the branch was safe again for now.

“But new members are needed to take over in two year’s time for all positions to make sure that the club remains successful,” she said.

“We are a small but active branch in the community and we network well with other groups and also with the businesses in town.

“We are available to teach anyone in the community to be creative over a cuppa and a chat and we encourage families to bring unfinished projects along to our meetings or to work alongside us as we knit trauma teddies.”
