Haigslea aims for high quality results

THE Haigslea State School community is dedicated to working hard with each other and the community in achieving high quality results.
Principal Emily Robinson said she was extremely proud to be the principal at the school and looks forward to the school’s future achievements in education.
“Working in conjunction with the school staff and community, I believe in strong, positive relationships to form the foundation in supporting the success of all students within our school,” she said.
“Haigslea has over 140 years of involvement in education – families through five generations of students from the area have been educated here; a rare and an amazing achievement.
“From the early years to now, we have ensured our school and the students keep up to date with the modern and evolving world with the addition of a new outdoor learning space and nature play areas where children can explore their creative minds.
“Technology is a vital area within our learning curriculum and we have introduced state of the art equipment that delivers interactive televisions, desktops, laptops and iPads.”
The quality facilities at the school, the staff emphasis on an enjoyable learning experience while catering for the individual by introducing learning styles for all students both in and out of the classrooms.
“Our school prides itself on holistic education, academic excellence, sporting, cultural and social achievements,” she said.
“Parents and community members are welcome to our school at any time to talk to teachers about their children’s education and are encouraged to be involved in all aspects of our school life.”
