Rosewood country markets reopen

THE markets are on again in Rosewood, every third Saturday of the month.

Anglican Parish volunteer Ashley Palmer said the monthly markets were made possible through the volunteering of many parishioners.

“Our opportunity shop, egg and bacon muffins, and homemade cakes and slices remain favourites for the locals, along with the fresh vegetables, arts and crafts, honey, jams, good coffee and homemade produce,” she said.

“Seating outside the markets provides an opportunity for locals to meet and catch up while listening to music and watching children enjoying the activities at the children’s table.

“The markets also provide an opportunity to meet with one of our treasured supporters Jim Madden as well as members from the Cancer Council and the Men’s Shed.”

And she encouraged anyone who would like to be involved, from stallholders to face painters to make contact.
