In regards to the residents on Doonans Road I think the residents feel like their voice is not heard.
This issue highlights starkly a problem with the current divisional boundaries in Ipswich.
It is a long way from Redbank Plains to Mount Mort, and Councillors cannot be everywhere.
I said back in 2019 that rural Ipswich residents would not have their voice heard and next time council comes up for review, I will again argue for a more sensible outcome.
Clearly, residents have concerns about traffic and the state of Doonans Road.
They also have concerns about the fact that no road upgrade is being required for the Bubbling Springs project and residents are also worried about problems with moving stock.
These are matters for council, not the state as these are council roads, but I will be making these concerns known again to the council.
