CHRISTMAS lights, Christmas cheer and Christmas treats were shared at a house on John Street in Rosewood on Friday night by the Murray family who welcomed all families to their lights display.
Ian Murray, who set up the display, said that he thanks his mother and father for their encouragement and support in making this dream Christmas display come to life.
“For many years my parents always had their own Christmas display and it inspired me as I witnessed how the fun and festivity of the whole set up brought people together,” he said.
“I also have to thank my great friends Karen, Zak, Monique, Reece and their families, along with the main man on the night, Santa because without them my display would not be possible.
“My wife Monica and my children have supported and helped me with the setup and they are everything to me, it really means a lot to be able to share our love for Christmas with others.”
Families enjoyed the display that was made up of assorted lights, a nativity scene, a snow blowing machine, a large truck and a large round Christmas Bauble with Santa inside giving out candy canes while taking note of who had been ‘naughty or nice’ this year.
