AS STUDENTS prepare to return to school on February 7, improvements to local schools have taken place to welcome them.
The new green space at Rosewood State High School is a school-managed project funded by the school.
Ashwell State School has also received improvements with an amenities upgrade costing $825,000 under the School Project Budget with Education Queensland.
The project will result in a new amenities block with disability access which will link to the existing structure.
Upgrades will also take place in late February into the existing access ramp to the resource centre and demolition of the existing amenities block – this vacant area following demolition is to undergo landscaping with a pathway.
