If, you are an American,
The blue grass of Kentucky,
Is a sight to behold …
So, I am told!
If you are from Ireland,
The green hills, and your favourite gnome,
Are always there, to welcome you back home.
If, you are an Australian.
To live in the land under the Southern Cross,
Will do us!
We cannot choose the place of our birth.
Except, it will be somewhere,
On this blue green Earth!
No matter, what colour or creed,
We all have the same basic need!
From one blood, we all come,
Even though, we don’t all look the same!
Wherever we live, whatever the weather.
We must learn to live in peace together!
So, if its blue grass or desert sand,
Reach out, and hold your brother and sister’s hand!
