Two lucky winners take home a swag of meat in Anzac Day raffle

THE Rising Sun Hotel in Rosewood and JBS Dinmore showed their support for Veterans on Anzac Day.

The hotel gave them the venue for the two up and JBS, through Rosewood RSL member and JBS colleague, Brian McLucas, donated two meat trays to raffle.

In all, the raffle prizes raised over $500 for the Rosewood RSL.

RSL member, Brian McLucas, presented each of the two lucky winners, Becki Ryan and Ian Luetchford, with their meat tray.

Brian said that he was happy to see the winners with smiles on their faces after he presented them with their prize and he acknowledged the support the RSL had received from JBS and the Rising Sun Hotel.

“The raffle was put together just before Anzac Day and I sold tickets at our service; all of the monies raised went directly to our branch to support our service personal and over $500 was made,” he said.
