We live in a land down under,
Where the weather is unpredictable,
With lightning and thunder,
A vast land, with floods and drought,
A landscape ever changing.
As we move about!
When you go out west,
There are never ending skies.
And swarms of blowflies.
Good day Love, how are you going?
Yes, I know,
Up north there’s a heat wave!
And down south it’s snowing!
An ancient land we know,
Hot and dry,
With Kangaroos, Kookaburras, Koalas and the Crow.
The Yanks don’t understand!
How we walk upside down,
And become confused, when they come to town!
We are happy, we get by,
As long as we can see the Southern Cross in the sky!
Yes, we live in a land down under,
We are different, is it any wonder?
