Gowns glitter at the Rosewood Show Ball

GOWNS glittered and suits were elegant at the 2022 Rosewood Show Ball on Saturday night.

Judge Kait Murphy thanked the Rosewood Show Society for inviting her and the other two judges Marisa Niebling and Jack Murphy to be involved in their annual ball.

“It is such an honour to be able to come and join everyone involved to celebrate Rosewood’s Ball and the Show, and it was so brilliant to see so many families dressed up and on the dance floor,” she said.

“This event it a great way to bring people together and to see the younger generation participate alongside their parents is very special.

“It was absolutely wonderful to speak to the two nominees for this year’s Rosewood Show Girl, Tiffany Chase and Chloe Ban-den-elsen.

“It was a hard decision to pick between the two ladies and I would like to congratulate Chloe Ban-den-elsen on taking home the title.

“To hear the ideas that the younger ladies have is always inspiring, to better their communities and to continue their engagement in the shows.

“Also, to be the ambassadors of the Show is very encouraging, I would like to congratulate the show society for mentoring and supporting these young people.”

Chloe was dressed in royal blue. She said she was excited to take home the title of Rosewood’s Showgirl for 2022. She added that she looked forward to being involved in the Show.

“I feel very honoured and I feel like this is a really great opportunity for a younger lady like me to have the opportunity to embrace and represent the Rosewood Show,” she said.

“Currently I am completing my final year in high school in Toowoomba, and I really look forward to helping and supporting all of the families at this year’s show.”

Guests on the night were treated to a three-course dinner and a chance to enjoy the old time classics on the dance floor.
