Team spirit on the field at Haigslea school

TEAM spirit was shared by all students at Haigslea State school who competed in their annual sports day carnival that was held on the Walloon State school oval.

School Principal Emily Robinson said students of the Moreton and Warrego sporting houses competed in each athletic event, with Moreton House coming away with the win.

“Warrego house did a great job, taking the March Past Award and Vickie Weiland presented the Darren Downie Award to Bailey Knight for the great sportsmanship he showed on the day.

“Everyone tried their best.

“Congratulations to all of the students, families and staff on making the day so successful.”
