A WEEKEND visit to Rosewood left a Brisbane man wanting to return soon, after enjoying the friendliness of the community and the colourful displays of creative artworks while walking through the town.
One stop in particular to Cabanda Care in Rosewood, left him smiling when he came across crocheted blankets and animals which were attached to the trees outside the facilities buildings.
“I enjoy visiting small country towns because I find it to be interesting to walk around learning about the towns history and when I visited Rosewood it sure did impress me,” Jonathon said.
“Seeing these crocheted works made me think of my grandmother, who was known in the family to always make blankets, beanies and scarfs out of assorted wool, she was always making something.
“It puts a smile on your face when you see creations from people who take the time to make things like this, they are really amazing and the person behind it should be praised for their hard work and creativity.”
