Knife-wielding Rosewood man on multiple charges

On July 2, Rosewood Police responded to reports of a male armed with a knife causing a disturbance and stealing from the Rising Sun Hotel.

Police arrested a man in Mill Street, Rosewood soon after and will allege that upon arrest he struck a Police officer with a glass bottle before spitting on him and biting the officer.

As a result of the struggle, three Rosewood officers sustained minor injuries.

Police successfully subdued the man and transported him to the Ipswich Watchhouse.
