ROSEWOOD took time to celebrate the women in the community on International Women’s Day.
More than 90 ladies enjoyed the event at the Community Centre including representatives from Cabanda Care and other organisations in the area.
To add to the experience, guests had the chance to speak with representatives from different agencies. The same representatives also spoke to the gathering about what the agencies had to offer.
The speakers shared their knowledge on topics such as disabilities, dementia, breast cancer, general health and the Rosewood Country Women’s Association explained what they enjoy doing in the local community.
International Women’s Day was a day to support and build friendships and this was provided through a lunch and gift bags that were handed out to each lady who was in attendance.
