In court

On July 2, the Rosewood Police attended the Willowbank Motocross Park after receiving a report of an assault.

Police will allege that two mothers of riders at the track became involved in an argument before one of the women assaulted the other.

As a result, police issued a female, 42, from Chermside with a Notice to Appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on a charge of common assault.

On July 10, Rosewood Police received a report of an assault and an armed robbery at a William Street address in Rosewood.

Police will allege that a Brassall man, 31, attended the address as an acquaintance of the occupants before leaving and then returning to the address armed with a kitchen knife before demanding property.

The man was arrested and was remanded in custody, awaiting a court appearance.

Crime

At about 3.00am on July 21, Rosewood Police received an attempted burglary report at the pharmacy in Walloon.

CCTV footage shows several persons wearing facial coverings attending the store in a small white vehicle and attempting to enter the store using tools. No entry was made.

Police are appealing to witnesses who may have seen a small white vehicle in the vicinity in the early hours of July 21.

On July 17, Rosewood Police received a report of a burglary at The Bluff. Police will allege that during daylight hours the offenders have forced entry to a dwelling and stolen a quantity of property including firearms and a safe.
