Rosewood Newsagency sells Division One winning ticket

ROSEWOOD Newsagent, Amy Wang, says she was thrilled to have sold a Division One winning Lotto entry, which was worth $1,311,960.34 for the lucky winner.

The person who purchased the ticket was one of three winners who took home the total Division One winning prize pool of $3,935,881.02 from the Saturday night draw

Ms Wang said she received the news early on Sunday morning.

“The ticket was sold sometime on Saturday (October 28), the same day that the Lotto was drawn and this is the first time that we have ever sold a Division One winning ticket,” she said.

“Over the years we have sold Division two winning tickets, but the feeling of selling Division One is completely different, it is just so exciting.

“I am looking forward to congratulating the lucky winner and also enjoying a glass of champagne to celebrate the great news.”
