DAVID Pahlke from the Rosewood History Group led a group of 20 visitors from the Gailes Community Centre on a heritage tour of Rosewood, recently.
“The topics that I spoke about on the day included information about the Cobb and Co Coach display and the history on all of the main buildings situated in the main street,” he said.
“Historical buildings included the Country Women’s Association, Rosewood Branch, where we concluded the tour with an afternoon tea.”
Gailes Community Centre member Leanne Byenhof said many members had never ventured out to the Rosewood area.
“The scenery was enjoyed while we took our time walking through the main street of Rosewood learning about its interesting history.”
