Rolling out the red carpet for Rosewood High graduates

YEAR 12 students from Rosewood State High School ‘walked the red carpet’ at the North Ipswich Reserve Corporate Centre and were congratulated on their graduation.

Forty-five students from Rosewood High attended the graduation as well as 21 staff members who have supported them throughout their schooling journey.

Staff member, Jacinta Harrison described the night as “great” adding that the evening was a time when the students were congratulated on their accomplishments throughout their senior years.

“On the night students were welcomed with their partners to the venue by the school community and their families,” she said.

“They enjoyed taking photos in a photo booth and dancing to music that was played by school teacher and DJ, Mr Clifford.

“Awards were also presented in categories such as, which student would be most likely asked for identification once they turn 30-years-old with Abby Butler taking home the award.

“This year’s cohort were a very chilled crowd, who all enjoyed the night with their friends and concluded the celebrations by taking part in the macarena with school staff on the dance floor.”
