CLIENTS from the Rosewood Cabanda Care Meals on Wheels program received creative gifts in December last year from students of the West Moreton Anglican College.
The gifts were placemats made by the students with the intention to make a difference by helping those within the Cabanda community.
Teacher at West Moreton Anglican College Aimee Turner said the students spent the final term of last year working on the placemats as part of a Citizenship program.
“The positivity placemats were designed by students, and the purpose behind the project was to share with the residents the message that they are valued and thought of even when they are feeling isolated,” she said.
“In support of the project, the student’s families also agreed to help facilitate the delivery of the placemats, that were all gratefully received.”
