A DEVELOPER has plans to change the boundaries of three allotments opposite the Dawn Walloon Estate, with a view to future subdivision.
The properties are at 590 and 622 Karrabin Rosewood Road and 62 Rackley Road and have a combined area of 30.3ha.
Developer, ID Walloon Developments Pty Ltd, are hoping to undertake significant changes to the boundaries.
“This [proposed] realignment amalgamates the developable land south of Karrabin Rosewood Road into a single lot, which will allow for a more efficient consideration of future development opportunities,” town planning agents for the developers stated in the application lodged with the Ipswich City Council this month.
The rural residential land is identified in the most recent Ipswich City Planning Scheme as ‘future urban’ and ‘special uses’.
The proposed changes to the boundaries would confine the swathe of land designated for the future Western Ipswich Bypass Road to a single allotment on the Western side. An area of core koala habitat would also be confined to the Western block.
The application is currently being considered by the Council town planners.
