Wide ranging support at Cherie’s Country Care

LOCATED in Mount Edwards, near Aratula in a beautiful part of the Scenic Rim, Cherie’s Country Care is an NDIS Provider organisation that was launched from a passion and a mission by local lady Cherie Apostolatos.

Servicing the whole Scenic Rim area and surrounds, Cherie and her carefully chosen, hand picked team, support participants with a wide range of disabilities.

A dedicated and highly experienced Disability Support Worker with over 20 years in the Care and Support sector along with a background in teaching and a former serving member of the RAAF, Cherie is focused on offering much more than a list of simple NDIS services that go beyond shopping and medical appointments.

Cherie’s acreage property provides the base for her services and offers participants a range of ‘on farm’ experiences that gives the opportunity to build skills, confidence and capability – an environment that is focused solely on the individual, fostering opportunities to thrive, grow, succeed and flourish in all aspects of life.

Cherie’s Country Care is committed to providing highly personalised supports that think outside the box.

For us the word ‘support’ takes on a whole new meaning – there’s a saying that ‘it takes a village’ to raise a child …. but in fact it takes a village to support anyone – of any age.

This means building meaningful and positive relationships and collaborations with local businesses, venues, destinations and other support and care providers. These provide opportunities for our participants to be brought together for really fun, group activities in their community – not only does this foster positive and effective relationships within the NDIS but is also hugely benefits our participants bringing further opportunities for connection, friendship and community engagement.
