Letter to the Editor – A thoughtful community

SINCE the recent break-ins at the Goodwill Op Shop and the Rosewood Uniting Church, we have received such encouragement from the community.

We have been overwhelmed by their generosity.

Some customers have said “Keep the change” or “Round it up to the next five”.

We have received donations from the Rosewood Lions and from the Rosewood Rugby League Football Old Boys Social Club. These responses have re-enforced our belief in the strength of the Rosewood community.

This community spirit will not be dented by a few misguided individual people who have no respect for other people’s property.

Our sincere thanks to our generous benefactors.
