Rosewood’s version of Travel Guide’s Mark Fren

A BIT of banter gets the heart racing and chases away the blues; it’s said everyone has a doppelganger and Robert Brown is wondering if he’s found his.

The Rosewood man is a retired schoolteacher who’s been told repeatedly he ‘looks just like’ Mark Fren from the reality television show Travel Guides on 9Now.

The show follows the Fren family as they travel the globe, showing off their experiences and giving ratings on the go.

It first aired around 2017 and since then ‘Rosewood’s Mark Fren’ has been told he looks just like that TV family’s patriarch.

Prior to retiring he said he was told much the same by students and staff at his school.

Robert is part of a group that goes to Harry’s Place café in Rosewood most Wednesday mornings.

Now his friends have mocked up a certificate and presented it to him so the comparison can forever be a reminder he has a twin out there.
