CABANDA Care Community Care Co-ordinator Jodi Bowman has been nominated for the 2024 Rosewood Lions Citizen of the Year Award for her role in oversights, provision and delivery of nursing support within the community.
Nominated by the Cabanda Care community, Jodi Bowman works in the field of in-home support and nursing support for many families within the Rosewood and surrounding communities.
Jodi manages a team of 10 care staff, including nurses, in-home carers and domestic staff who deliver services such as assistance with showering, dressing, medications, wound management and domestic services and transport, seven days a week.
The provision of care requires Jodi to work with each client to maximise their individualised service, while building a professional and trusted relationship with each client.
Jodi recently celebrated three decades of service with Cabanda Care, and during this time she has built strong relationships with those she cares for, while ensuring those who she assists are able to remain at home.
