Rosewood Rays presentation celebrations

SWIMMERS from the Rosewood Rays Swimming Club were treated to a fun night at the Rosewood Pool last week to celebrate their personal achievements throughout the swim season.

The fun included games in the pool, free pizza and an Easter raffle before the end of year award presentations were held.

The Age Champions received a trophy and a souvenir age champion jumper that was embossed with the Rosewood Rays banner and the title of age champion.

Most improved trophies were presented in freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke before the perpetual trophies were awarded.

Perpetual trophies included the Len Franklin Award, the Most Outstanding Senior Swimmer, the Patricia Fechner Memorial Trophy and the Christina Faithful Memorial trophy. These trophies are used by the club to reward individual initiative and to recognise the high performers.
