DANCERS from the Rosewood School of Dance were on stage on Saturday for their annual dance concert.
Dance Educator Lisa Benjamin teaches students in classical ballet, contemporary and other styles of dance, and this end of year demonstration showcases what the students have been working on throughout the year.
Before the concert, selected students work hard to perfect their technique for syllabus exams resulting in some students gaining results as high as Honours.
“All of the students have worked extremely hard during the year, and I am so proud of all of my students, because they are all unique in their own way,” she said.
“This concert is definitely one of my favourite events on the dance school calendar, it brings excitement to all of the families and it also provides all of the students a chance to shine on the stage.”
After the performance each student received a bouquet of flowers and were applauded for their dedication to the world of dance.
