HALLOWEEN trick or treat fun in the streets of Rosewood was a feature of Monday evening.
Many children were seen with big smiles as their families took them to see all of the different costumes that their friends were dressed in.
In John Street, the Murray family once again attracted a huge crowd to their creative and interactive display that had families talking and children intrigued when the characters moved and danced beside them.
The Rosewood Baptist Church also drew a big crowd with a free event, which was described as “a way to give back to the community” while bringing people together.
Volunteers from the church greeted families at the gate as they handed out free hotdogs, drinks, snow cones and jumping castle vouchers.
Joining in the fun was Rosewood resident Sharon Hope who said it was the first time her family had decided to join in with Halloween and that the event at the Baptist Church was very enjoyable.
“I thoroughly enjoyed taking a break from walking around the streets while my children enjoyed playing with their friends on the jumping castle and within the bubbles,” she said.
“Overall, the night was a fun and a positive time.
“Our children had a great time seeing all of the different displays and costumes, and we are all looking forward to Halloween next year in Rosewood.”
