THE Rosewood Amateur Fishing Club March Freshwater trip to Leslie Dam proved far more fruitful than the February one.
Twelve Seniors and five Juniors attended the competition, with almost everyone having fish to weigh in at the end of the day.
In the Senior Competition, only a few points separated the first four placegetters.
First place went to Daren Henderson with 10 Yellowbelly, weighting in at 5.62 kgs.
Second was Judy Litfin also 10 Yellowbelly totalling 5.22 kg.
Naomi Bazzo claimed third place with 10 Yellowbelly at 5.20 kg.
The Junior Competition was also close with all five competitors weighing in good catches.
In first place was Arielle Bazzo with 10 Yellowbelly weighing 4.86 kg
Closely followed by Jennifer Holcombe, second with five Yellowbelly for 4.70 kg.
Holly Bazzo took out third place with eight Yellowbelly at 4.02 kg.
