GHOSTS, ghouls and witches lined the streets of Rosewood on Sunday night to take part in Halloween activities and ‘trick or treating’ around the town.
In addition to the many households who welcomed families to their door, the Rosewood Baptist Church held a free event that attracted over 400 people.
Pastor Phil Gibbs said the event was aimed at bringing families together, to take part in an activity that was all about sharing fun and excitement for all.
“This was our third year hosting this event and going by the number of hotdogs, cold drinks and snow cones that were given out it was a huge success,” he said.
“Volunteers from our church enjoyed seeing all the elaborate and creative costumes and it was very rewarding to see so many happy smiling children enjoying themselves on the jumping castles that were provided.
“It is simply all about encouraging the community to come out and enjoy themselves and to spread a positive message of hope to others while meeting new people.
“Rosewood is a wonderful community and it is fantastic to be able to do things together in a friendly and safe environment.”
