The world is full of dealers in the fiction not the fact
A sad reflection on our times, some might say, that is that.
Yet I think how much a better place this life of ours could be
If the fiction dealers turned around and reported what will be.
Some might say that the truth hurts but I think I’d rather hear,
That the truth is always sprouted without anger, doubt or fear.
It could generate a culture of, not honesty or blame,
Just the matter of fact, this is so and end to all the games.
But alas the world is not like this and people cannot be
Just the dealers in the fact because, the truth won’t set you free.
So, our lives continue full of fact and fiction side by side,
With embellishers of reality who wear their badge with pride.
