The sound of body slams and cheering crowds will once again echo through the historic Walloon Hotel as professional wrestling makes its much-anticipated return to the popular country pub.
After drawing a lively crowd at last year’s debut event, Venom Pro Wrestling is presenting Country Clash tomorrow (14 March).
If you missed it last year, this is your chance to see what everyone was talking about.
If you were there and have been waiting for the next one, you already know what’s coming.
It’s an evening full of big personalities, easy to follow action and an atmosphere you won’t get from a screen.
Expect hard-hitting matches, loud reactions and a night of live entertainment right in front of you as Walloon once again becomes the place to be.
Hotel landlord Stewart Gibson described last year’s event as being a comedy show and a blood show all rolled into one.
Mixing athleticism with lively audience interaction, around half a dozen wrestlers kept the energy electric.
“The wrestlers weren’t just performing – they were right there in the crowd and everyone was grinning from ear to ear,” he said of last year’s event.
“It really was a night to remember.”
