A COLOURFUL table set is now being enjoyed by Rosewood Bowls Club members.
The furniture was donated by David Martin and was built by the Brisbane Youth Education Centre.
David said the Education Centre works on individual projects, that are built by the members and donated into the community.
“The young people who are part of the Education Centre take great pride in their projects, keeping in mind that their work will be utilised by selected community groups, who in return appreciate the item,” he said.
“I have been involved in these centres for over 10 years, and over the years many objects have been created, which include 300 children’s tables, 250 dog kennels, 50 picnic tables and 10 cubby houses.
“I have always had a heart for supporting those who want to do great things for the community, and being able to assist the Rosewood Bowls Club is a great feeling.”
The new furniture will be situated at the front entrance of the Bowls Club.
