The Rosewood Amateur Fishing Club were back on the water in July and August for friendship and competitions that brought with it impressive results.
In the July competition, Terry Sheppard was the trip winner with a catch of 10 bream, tipping the scales at 3.91 kilograms that earnt a total of 60.1 points.
Second place went to Greg Buhmann who pulled in five bream, weighing 1.605 kilograms and 31.05 points.
Finishing in third place was Judy Litfin with three bream and one flathead, weighing 1.68 kilograms and adding 30.8 points to her score.
In the Junior competition Riley Buhmann came first with one flathead earning 15.5 points and his brother Cooper came in second with one bream and 15.1 points.
The August competition saw Kel Larfield claiming first place with 17 Bream, weighing 5.54 kilograms, totally 71.5 points to his score.
Second place went to Ken Slater with one sole, seven bream and a 70-centimetre flathead, weighing 4.4 kilograms that earnt 63 points.
Third place went to Daren Henderson with a catch of seven bream and one flathead, weighing 3.05 kilograms, earning him 48.5 points.
In the Junior competition Cooper Buhmann’s two bream of 18.85 points put him just ahead of his brother Riley who earnt 18 points also with two bream.
A total of 72 fish that were made up of 63 bream, seven flathead and two sole were caught on the trip.
