ROSEWOOD Lions Club members and invited guests recently gathered to celebrate the work of the outgoing executive committee and to welcome the incoming committee.
Deputy Mayor Russell Milligan was among the guests and delivered the toast to the Club, as he acknowledged all of the positive interaction and projects that the Lions have achieved in the community.
The outgoing Lions president Dennis Kenyon welcomed new president Bernie Newell into his role.
Installing Officer, former Lions member Ivan Schindler welcomed and installed the new executive into their 2023-2024 positions.
The committee led by Bernie Newell included secretary Christine Forrest and treasurer Clyde Nicoll.
Guests at the function were also told of the work of the Club during the year, and of donations made to numerous local schools, community groups and community members.
