Sportsman, fisherman, family man – a high achiever

Vale Dean Stuart Browning

THE late Dean Browning is described as a man who was always there for his family and his community.

He was born in Ipswich on March 3, 2004 to Wayne and Janelle Browning. He was one of six children and was brother to Shane, Michael, Andrew and Neil and his sister Kristie.

Dean began his education at the Rosewood Early Education Centre, then attended Mount Marrow Primary School where he was Hooper Sports Captain, before he went to Rosewood State High School.

He became a member of the Rosewood Amateur Fishing Club, the Rosewood United Church Soccer Club, the Ipswich City Bulls, the Rosewood Golf Club and during his younger years he was always seen with a ball.

During his time on the soccer field, his ball skills stood out – his ability to be able to kick the ball from one end of the field to the other was described as “amazing” and his team won on a Premiership.

Dean also spent a lot of time on the golf course, from volunteering, competing and assisting others. At the age of 14, he accomplished a ‘Hole in One’, and he won many trophies and awards.

He also excelled on the water with the Rosewood Amateur Fishing Club, where he earned many trophies. He especially enjoyed his last fishing trip with the club at the Glenlyon Dam.

Dean was a natural and he quickly learned many skills which set him up for a career in the cleaning restoration industry.

A high achiever during his career, he worked for three different cleaning restoration companies where he took great pride in his work.

During his career he assisted in the clean-up operation after the major Townsville Flood.

Dean was described as a very kind hearted and generous man who always wished the best for everyone and during his life he touched many lives.

Family was everything to Dean, and he expressed his love for all of his family through always being there for them and helping them in any way he could.

His love for the great outdoors saw Dean assisting where ever he could and he was described as a great help to his father with any handyman jobs.

In his short life he made a big impact and his love and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
